Kommando Pinkele
Source: Leon Van Oldenborgh at The Overkill Festival 2022
A Dutch variation on Simon Says with players performing a limited number of specific actions.
One player calls out commands (when we played it we sat in a circle and took turns calling commands). There are 4 specific commands that may be called. If a command is preceded by 'kommando' players who don't follow the command are knocked out of the game. If a command is not preceded by 'kommando' players who do follow the command are knocked out of the game.
The four commands are:
- Pinkele: Players drum their pinkie fingers on the table.
- Halt: Players stop doing what they're doing and hold their hands up as a kind of stop sign.
- Hole: Players hold their hands palms facing up, with their fingers and thumbs pointing up as though their hands are holes(?).
- Bowl: The same as Hole, albeit with palms facing down.
(I've written the last 2 commands as I heard them, but it is very possible I misheard and there's a degree of translator's error on my part)
